If you're looking to improve your LM2 fuel system and make maintenance easier, the Dirty Diesel cat fuel adapter kit is what you need. This kit utilizes the ubiquitous Cat 1R-0750, available on our site as well. The design is intended to piggyback onto your OEM filter system.
Keeping the OEM filter housing allows you to keep your OEM fuel heater and water in the filter sensor. This ensures you don't see any check engine lights from needlessly deleted components. You can either empty out the OEM fuel filter housing so that you don't have to mess with the difficult-to-service plastic housing, which requires special tools to reliably service without breaking the cap, or run both filters for increased filtration.
